Boeing 767-424ER, serial number 29446, operated by Continental Airlines as N66051. Delivered new to Continental in August 2000, it was among the first 767-400ERs to enter airline service and became part of Continental's long-haul fleet from Newark and Houston. The aircraft transferred to United Airlines in October 2010 following the merger, retaining its original registration. N66051 was stored at Roswell from March 2020 until September 2021 during the pandemic. It was subsequently returned to service and reconfigured in 2023 with United's Polaris business class and Premium Plus cabin. N66051 remains active in 2026 on United's transatlantic and other long-haul services.

Boeing 767-400ER

Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to fill the niche between the narrow-bodied 707 and wide-bodied 747, the 767 was first flown on September 26th, 1981. Developed in tandem with the narrow-bodied 757 twinjet, both aircraft share a common digital cockpit layout and are operated by a two man flight crew. Thanks to a proven reliability track-record, the 767 is approved for extended twin engine operations (ETOPS) making it a popular choice for airlines flying transatlantic routes. With more than 1000 aircraft produced, the 767 is the second most prolific wide-bodied airliner after the 747.
