Boeing 767-424ER, serial number 29450, line number 826, operated by United Airlines as N76055. The aircraft was delivered new to Continental Airlines on February 21, 2001 and spent its first decade operating Continental's long-haul network. Following the United-Continental merger, it transferred to United in October 2010 while retaining N76055 and was painted in the distinctive Star Alliance livery in December 2010. The aircraft was stored at Roswell during the pandemic from March 2020 until April 2022 before returning to service. More than 25 years after its original delivery, N76055 remains active with United in 2026 and continues to wear Star Alliance colors.

Boeing 767-300ER

Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to fill the niche between the narrow-bodied 707 and wide-bodied 747, the 767 was first flown on September 26th, 1981. Developed in tandem with the narrow-bodied 757 twinjet, both aircraft share a common digital cockpit layout and are operated by a two man flight crew. Thanks to a proven reliability track-record, the 767 is approved for extended twin engine operations (ETOPS) making it a popular choice for airlines flying transatlantic routes. With more than 1000 aircraft produced, the 767 is the second most prolific wide-bodied airliner after the 747.
