Airbus A321-251NX, operated by Xiamen Airlines as B-32E5. Built at Airbus' Hamburg facility, the aircraft carried test registration D-AZYD before delivery to Xiamen Airlines in May 2023. It was ferried from Hamburg through Tashkent to Xiamen on May 13-14 and entered commercial service on May 24. Configured with eight business-class and 200 economy seats, B-32E5 is powered by CFM International LEAP engines. The A321neo provides Xiamen Airlines with greater capacity than its extensive Boeing 737 fleet while retaining narrowbody economics for high-demand domestic and regional routes. B-32E5 remains active in 2026, operating throughout Xiamen Airlines' Chinese network.
