Boeing 777-F6N, serial number 37715, line number 876, operated by Central Airlines as B-2079. Built in 2010, this GE90-powered freighter previously served other operators before joining China's Central Airlines in August 2022. The aircraft became one of the carrier's largest and longest-range freighters, providing up to approximately 106 tonnes of payload capacity for intercontinental cargo operations. B-2079 has since been employed on Central Airlines and YunExpress logistics services linking China with major overseas freight centers. It remains highly active in 2026, with recent routes connecting Ezhou with Paris, Riyadh and other international destinations as Central Airlines expands its long-haul 777F operation. Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to compete with the Airbus A330/A340 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, the 777 was first flown on June 12th, 1994. A pair of the world's largest diameter turbofan engines power the aircraft which currently holds the record for world's largest twin-engined airliner. The 777 was Boeing's first fly-by-wire airliner, featuring complete glass cockpit displays and flight envelope protection. Standard varients have a range of 4,200 nautical miles while Extended Range (ER) variants can fly for 6,600 nautical miles and the Longer Range (LR) variant is the world's longest range airliner capable of flying 7,800 nautical miles. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
