Boeing 777-200F, serial number 67830, entered service with Central Airlines as B-2082. The aircraft joined the Chinese cargo carrier's fleet of long haul freighters and operates international freight routes linking China with destinations across Asia, Europe, and North America. Configured as a dedicated freighter, the 777-200F features a large main deck cargo door and reinforced floor for palletized cargo. Powered by General Electric GE90 engines, the aircraft provides excellent payload capability, long range performance, and fuel efficiency. B-2082 supports Central Airlines' growing global cargo operations. Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to compete with the Airbus A330/A340 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, the 777 was first flown on June 12th, 1994. A pair of the world's largest diameter turbofan engines power the aircraft which currently holds the record for world's largest twin-engined airliner. The 777 was Boeing's first fly-by-wire airliner, featuring complete glass cockpit displays and flight envelope protection.
