ATR 72-201, serial number 164, operated by Thai Airways International as HS-TRA and named "Lampang." The aircraft first flew on January 25, 1990 and was delivered new to Thai Airways on February 23. On August 7, 2004, HS-TRA suffered a nose landing gear collapse while landing at Mae Hong Son but was repaired. It was leased to Nok Air in 2006, returned to Thai in October 2008, then leased back to Nok Air in December 2009. Its final flight for Nok Air was on April 30, 2013, after which it returned to Thai Airways and was stored at Bangkok Don Mueang.
