Boeing 767-400ER   12"   10.25"

Boeing 767-400ER operated by Boeing as N76400. The registration was associated with Boeing's 767-400ER development and demonstration program, representing the largest and final major passenger derivative of the 767 family. The stretched 767-400ER incorporated a redesigned flight deck, raked wingtips, revised landing gear and a lengthened fuselage, with the type developed primarily for Delta Air Lines and Continental Airlines. N76400 was used by Boeing for development, certification and promotional activities connected with the new model. The 767-400ER entered airline service in 2000 but attracted only Delta and Continental as major commercial customers, making it one of the rarest production variants of the 767.

Boeing 767-400ER

Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to fill the niche between the narrow-bodied 707 and wide-bodied 747, the 767 was first flown on September 26th, 1981. Developed in tandem with the narrow-bodied 757 twinjet, both aircraft share a common digital cockpit layout and are operated by a two man flight crew. Thanks to a proven reliability track-record, the 767 is approved for extended twin engine operations (ETOPS) making it a popular choice for airlines flying transatlantic routes. With more than 1000 aircraft produced, the 767 is the second most prolific wide-bodied airliner after the 747.
