Embraer E190F, serial number 19000360, operated as N986TA. Built in 2010, the aircraft was originally delivered to TACA International as a passenger E190. After withdrawal in 2019, it was selected by Embraer as the prototype for its new E190 passenger-to-freighter conversion program. N986TA made the first flight of a converted E190F on April 5, 2024 and subsequently participated in certification testing and appeared at the 2024 Farnborough Airshow. In 2025 it was transferred to Bridges Air Cargo, the launch operator for the E-Freighter program. The aircraft is historically significant as the world's first E190 converted freighter.
Designed as a medium-range, narrow-body, twin-jet, the Embraer ERJ 170 launched Embraer's "E-Jet" series and was first flown on February 19th, 2002. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
