Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, operated by Etihad Airways as A6-BMD. The stretched 787-10 emphasizes additional capacity while retaining the Dreamliner's composite structure and advanced systems. Etihad used the aircraft from Abu Dhabi during the development of its long-haul network, with widebody aircraft forming the core of services to Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, and North America. The registration A6-BMD identifies the individual aircraft within that fleet, tying it to the carrier's own operational history. Its service illustrates the industry's continuing move toward long-range twinjets that reduce fuel burn and maintenance requirements while retaining the payload and range needed for nonstop international routes.
Designed as a medium-range, narrow-body, twin-jet, the Embraer ERJ 170 launched Embraer's "E-Jet" series and was first flown on February 19th, 2002. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
