Fokker F70, operated by Tyrolean as OE-LFG. Tyrolean used the aircraft as part of its scheduled passenger or freight network. The aircraft represents an earlier generation of jet transport that helped shape the operator's network before newer types took over. OE-LFG identifies the individual airframe rather than merely the model, and aircraft of this generation often accumulated long careers involving storage, resale, conversion, or service with secondary operators. Its history therefore forms part of the broader transition from late twentieth-century airliners to fleets built around more efficient engines, modern avionics, and lower operating costs.
