Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, registered N8572C and displayed in Riyadh Air colors during the Saudi carrier's launch period. Riyadh Air unveiled its distinctive indigo livery in 2023 as part of plans to create a major international hub operation from Riyadh. N8572C served as a promotional and demonstration aircraft rather than a normal Riyadh Air revenue airframe, allowing the new airline to present its brand before delivery of its own fleet. The 787-9 is central to Riyadh Air's long-haul strategy, combining composite construction, efficient engines, long range, and a modern passenger cabin suitable for nonstop services linking Saudi Arabia with major global markets.
