Boeing 777F, operated by Qatar Cargo as A7-BFG. Qatar Cargo used the aircraft as part of its scheduled passenger or freight network. In freighter service, the aircraft carried containerized and palletized cargo, express shipments, machinery, and other time-sensitive loads. The 777F offered the payload and range needed to connect major logistics centers while maintaining dependable schedules and rapid turnarounds. This particular registration identifies one airframe within the operator's cargo fleet, giving the model a direct link to the airline's freight history rather than simply representing the aircraft type in general. Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to compete with the Airbus A330/A340 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, the 777 was first flown on June 12th, 1994. A pair of the world's largest diameter turbofan engines power the aircraft which currently holds the record for world's largest twin-engined airliner. The 777 was Boeing's first fly-by-wire airliner, featuring complete glass cockpit displays and flight envelope protection.
