Airbus A380-841, operated by Malaysia Airlines as 9M-MNF. Delivered in 2013, 9M-MNF was the sixth and final A380 to join the Malaysia Airlines fleet. Powered by four Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engines, it was used on the carrier's highest-profile long-haul services, particularly Kuala Lumpur-London Heathrow. Malaysia later removed the A380 from normal scheduled service as its long-haul strategy changed, although the type continued on selected charter and pilgrimage flying. The retirement of the six-aircraft fleet ended a distinctive chapter in Malaysia Airlines history, with 9M-MNF representing the final example of the world's largest passenger airliner delivered to the Malaysian flag carrier.
