Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, operated by Eva Air as B-17802. The stretched 787-10 trades some range for additional passenger and cargo capacity, making it especially effective on high-density long-haul routes. EVA Air used the aircraft from Taipei on regional and long-haul services, building a reputation for a modern international fleet and extensive connections between Asia and North America. The airframe represents the period in which long-range twinjets increasingly replaced older three- and four-engine aircraft, offering airlines lower fuel burn and maintenance costs while retaining the range needed for nonstop international flying.
