Boeing 747-867F, construction number 39240, operated by Cathay Pacific Cargo as B-LJC. The aircraft is part of Cathay's modern 747-8F fleet, carrying high-value and time-sensitive freight from its Hong Kong hub to major cargo markets worldwide. Powered by four General Electric GEnx-2B engines, the 747-8F offers greater payload, range, and fuel efficiency than earlier 747 freighters. Its distinctive hinged nose permits exceptionally long cargo to be loaded directly onto the main deck. B-LJC was delivered in 2013 and remains an important component of Cathay's long-haul international freight operation.
Designed as a large capacity airliner and freight hauler, the 747 was first flown on February 9th, 1969. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
