Airbus A321-251NX, serial number 10091, originally built for Cathay Dragon and carrying the Airbus test registration D-AVZF. The aircraft was photographed at Hamburg Finkenwerder in Cathay Dragon colors during 2020. Cathay Dragon ceased operations in October 2020 before the aircraft could enter service with the airline. It was subsequently delivered to parent company Cathay Pacific as B-HPD in December 2020 and entered passenger service in November 2021. Powered by two CFM International LEAP-1A engines, the A321neo combines increased capacity and range with significantly improved fuel efficiency compared with earlier A321 variants.
