Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, serial number 66913, line number 1102, operated by TAAG Angola Airlines as D2-TER. Built in 2021 and originally intended for TUI Airways as G-TUIP, the aircraft was never taken up by TUI and later became part of TAAG's major long-haul fleet modernization. Powered by General Electric GEnx-1B engines, D2-TER entered TAAG service in October 2025. The 787-9 provides substantially improved fuel efficiency and passenger comfort compared with older widebodies and supports TAAG's expanding international network from Luanda. D2-TER represents an important step in the Angolan flag carrier's transition to a modern Boeing Dreamliner fleet.
