Boeing 747-284B, serial number 20742, line number 216, delivered new to Olympic Airways on June 21, 1973 as SX-OAA and named "Olympic Zeus." It became Olympic's first 747 and served flagship routes including Athens-New York and Athens-London. On August 9, 1978, SX-OAA suffered a major loss of thrust shortly after departing Athens as Flight 411 but narrowly avoided terrain and returned safely without injuries. It was sold to TWA in April 1985 as N305TW, withdrawn in 1997, and eventually scrapped at Marana, Arizona in 1999.
