Boeing 727-225, serial number 20415, entered service with Eastern Air Lines as N8841E before later joining USAir Shuttle as N922TS. Delivered in August 1970, the aircraft also briefly operated for Pan American before becoming part of the USAir Shuttle operation in October 1993. Powered by three Pratt & Whitney JT8D engines, N922TS was ideally suited to the Shuttle's high-frequency services linking New York, Boston, and Washington. It was subsequently rebranded as US Airways Shuttle in 1997 before being withdrawn and eventually broken up at Mojave, California.

Boeing 727-200

Designed as a smaller, short/medium-ranged complement to the 707, the 727 was first flown on February 9th, 1963.
