Boeing 727-100 Diecast Model
Braniff International Airways, N7296

Limited Edition

1:200 Scale   Length   Width
Boeing 727-100   8"   6.5"

Boeing 727-27C, entered service with Braniff International Airways as N7296 in October 1967. One of Braniff's later Quick Change 727-100s, the aircraft could be configured for passenger, cargo, or combination operations, giving the airline exceptional flexibility. N7296 participated in Braniff's celebrated "Jellybean" era, when aircraft were painted in bold individual colors rather than conventional airline liveries. Powered by three Pratt & Whitney JT8D engines, the 727-27C offered dependable short and medium haul performance while its large forward cargo door supported Braniff's AirGo freight operation. N7296 remained with Braniff until it was sold in January 1982.

Boeing 727-100

Designed as a smaller, short/medium-ranged complement to the 707, the 727 was first flown on February 9th, 1963.
