Boeing 727-100 Diecast Model
Braniff International Airways, N7272

Limited Edition

1:200 Scale   Length   Width
Boeing 727-100   8"   6.5"

Boeing 727-27C, serial number 19111, entered service with Braniff International Airways as N7272 in August 1966. The aircraft was one of Braniff's early Quick Change 727s, capable of operating passenger, freight, or mixed services. N7272 was especially distinctive as the first Braniff aircraft delivered in Alexander Girard's rare Light Sky Blue "Jellybean" color scheme, part of the airline's famous transformation during the 1960s. Powered by three Pratt & Whitney JT8D engines, the aircraft served Braniff until 1975 before joining TransBrasil as PT-TYS. Its unusual pale blue finish makes N7272 particularly memorable among Braniff's colorful 727 fleet.
