Airbus A310-203, serial number 300, operated by Cyprus Airways as 5B-DAQ. Built in 1984, the aircraft formed part of Cyprus Airways' small fleet of four A310-200s, which brought modern widebody capability to the Cypriot flag carrier. The A310 allowed Cyprus Airways to operate higher-capacity services from Larnaca to major European and Middle Eastern destinations while offering greater range than its narrowbody fleet. The airline became an early and long-standing Airbus customer, eventually replacing its A310s with newer A320-family aircraft. 5B-DAQ was withdrawn from Cyprus Airways service in September 2003 and was broken up in December 2004.
