Airbus A318-111, serial number 2367, entered service with Mexicana as XA-UBT in January 2005. The aircraft joined Mexicana's compact A318 fleet for domestic and regional international services throughout Mexico, the United States, and Central America. Configured with 12 business and 88 economy seats, it was powered by two CFM International CFM56-5B engines. XA-UBT remained with Mexicana until the airline ceased operations in August 2010. It subsequently joined Avianca as N593EL, continuing passenger service before eventually being withdrawn and scrapped.
