Boeing 747-87UF, serial number 37565, entered service with Atlas Air as N861GT. The aircraft joined Atlas Air's modern fleet of long haul freighters and operates cargo missions linking major freight hubs across North America, Europe, and Asia. Configured as a dedicated freighter, the aircraft can transport large volumes of palletized and containerized cargo as well as oversized shipments through its nose cargo door. Powered by General Electric GEnx engines, the 747-8F provides improved fuel efficiency and extended range. N861GT continues to support Atlas Air's global cargo operations.
