Boeing 747-8F, serial number 37558, entered service with Boeing as N770BA. The aircraft served as a Boeing company aircraft used for flight testing, development work, and demonstration flights during the Boeing 747-8 program. It participated in performance evaluations and certification support while also appearing at aviation events and customer demonstrations around the world. Powered by General Electric GEnx-2B67 engines, the 747-8F introduced improved fuel efficiency, greater payload capacity, and extended range compared with the earlier 747-400F. N770BA played an important role in validating the performance and operational capabilities of the Boeing 747-8 freighter.
