Boeing 747-438, serial number 25067, entered service with Qantas Airways as VH-OJC. The aircraft joined the airline's long haul fleet in the early 1990s and operated international routes linking Australia with destinations across Asia, Europe, and North America. Configured with multiple passenger classes, the 747-400 provided high capacity service with modern inflight entertainment and passenger amenities for its era. Powered by Rolls Royce RB211 engines, the aircraft offered strong range and reliability. VH-OJC supported Qantas' global operations for many years before the airline gradually retired its Boeing 747 fleet.
