The Su-30MK2, operated by the People's Liberation Army Navy Air Force (PLANAF), is a multirole fighter designed for air superiority and ground attack missions. The Su-30MK2 is equipped with advanced avionics, thrust-vectoring engines, and a sophisticated radar system. It enhances the PLANAF's operational capabilities, enabling it to conduct a variety of missions, including air patrol, anti-ship operations, and precision strikes. Designed as two-seat multi-role variant of the Su-27, the Su-30 was first flown (as the Su-27PU) on December 31, 1989. Similar to the F-15E Strike Eagle, the Su-30 is still a highly capable Air Superiority Fighter while an advanced avionics suite make it formidable in the Air-to-Ground Strike Fighter role.
