Woensdrecht Air Base is the home of the Flight Training Center of the Dutch Luchtmacht. The 131st Squadron with its 13 Pilatus PC-7 aircraft are tasked with basic flight training of all future air force pilots. The Swiss-manufactured PC-7 was first introduced in 1978 and has been selected by more than 20 air forces around the world, over 600 having been built since.
