In cooperation with Germany´s largest amusement park, the Europa-Park in south-western Germany, close to the French-German border, the park´s mascot, Ed, flies high above the Lake Constance region on the sides one of four currently active Zeppelin airships.
Designed as a commercial airship, the Zeppelin NT (Neue Technologie) was first flown in September 1997. The semi-rigid design differs considerably from the early Zeppelin rigid airships and the modern non-rigid blimps. By making extensive use of modern construction materials, the NT is very lightweight yet extremely strong. © Copyright 2003-2024 The Flying Mule, Inc.
