Just a few months ago, the transport wing based in Penzing, in the South German state of Bavaria celebrated its 60th anniversary. However now is the time to say goodbye. To commemorate the decommissioning of the unit, a farewell to the Transall and to the wing has been applied to the stabilizer of a C-130.
Designed as a joint venture between France and Germany to produce a military transport, the C-160 was first flown on February 25th, 1963. © Copyright 2003-2025 The Flying Mule, Inc.
