"Pan American Grace Airways" was a shared subsidiary of PanAm and Grace Shipping Line, and operated mainly on routes connecting Miami and South America. From the 1950s, Panagra operated six original series DC-6 with the short fuselage.
Designed to meet a USAAF requirement for a larger-capacity transport than the C-54 (DC-4), the Douglas DC-6 was first flown on June 29th, 1946. © Copyright 2003-2024 The Flying Mule, Inc.
