Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker, serial number 61-0266, operated by the Kansas Air National Guard. The aircraft provides aerial refueling support for U.S. and allied combat aircraft, extending their range, endurance, and ability to deploy rapidly around the world. The KC-135R is powered by four CFM International CFM56 turbofan engines, which provide substantially greater thrust, fuel efficiency, and quieter operation than the original KC-135 powerplants. Aircraft 61-0266 has served as part of the Air National Guard's tanker force, supporting training exercises, overseas deployments, and operational missions.
