Saab 340B, operated by Pacific Coastal Airlines as C-GOIA. The twin-engine turboprop serves regional routes in western Canada, linking smaller communities with larger centers such as Vancouver. Powered by two General Electric CT7 engines, the Saab 340B offers economical operation, approximately 30 passenger seats, and strong performance from shorter regional runways. Pacific Coastal has long specialized in serving communities across British Columbia, where challenging terrain and relatively small markets favor efficient turboprops. C-GOIA represents the practical regional aircraft that allow the carrier to maintain essential connections while complementing other regional equipment within its varied fleet.
