Embraer E190, operated by Alliance Airlines as VH-UYB. The aircraft is part of Alliance's expanding E190 fleet, acquired to supplement and modernize its long-serving Fokker operation. Powered by two General Electric CF34-10E engines, the E190 combines a comfortable four-abreast cabin with efficient regional performance and useful range. VH-UYB is suited to Alliance's diverse missions, including fly-in/fly-out mining contracts, corporate charters, wet-lease services, and scheduled flying. The E190 provides greater speed, modern avionics, and improved operating economics while retaining the flexibility required to serve Australia's widely dispersed cities and remote resource centers.
