Fokker 70, operated by Alliance Airlines as VH-QQW. The shortened member of the Fokker 100 family provides efficient regional capacity for charter, mining, and scheduled services throughout Australia. Powered by two Rolls-Royce Tay turbofans, the F70 offers strong runway performance, a comfortable cabin, and lower capacity than the F100, making it useful on thinner routes. Alliance Airlines developed considerable expertise operating and maintaining Fokker aircraft and became one of the world's largest remaining users of the family. VH-QQW has supported fly-in/fly-out operations linking major cities with remote mining and resource communities across the country.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
Designed as a smaller, 70 seat version of the Fokker 100, the Fokker 70 was first flown on April 4th, 1993. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
