747-400F, operated by Polar Air Cargo as N450PA. The aircraft served in dedicated cargo operations, carrying express freight, general merchandise, machinery, and other time-sensitive loads across the operator's network. Its combination of payload, range, and dependable performance made the type well suited to demanding freight schedules and major logistics hubs. Aircraft of this family became important cargo workhorses because they could move substantial loads efficiently while supporting rapid loading and turnaround.
