Boeing 767-300ER, operated by North American Airlines as N767NA. The widebody served the U.S. charter and supplemental carrier on passenger services for tour operators, government contracts, military charters, and other specialized missions. Powered by two high-bypass turbofan engines, the 767-300ER combined intercontinental range with moderate passenger capacity and efficient twin-engine economics. North American Airlines used aircraft such as N767NA to operate long-distance flights throughout the Americas and overseas, often outside conventional scheduled-airline networks. The 767's range, reliability, and flexible cabin made it particularly suitable for charter work. North American Airlines ceased operations in 2014 after years of specialized service.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to fill the niche between the narrow-bodied 707 and wide-bodied 747, the 767 was first flown on September 26th, 1981. Developed in tandem with the narrow-bodied 757 twinjet, both aircraft share a common digital cockpit layout and are operated by a two man flight crew. Thanks to a proven reliability track-record, the 767 is approved for extended twin engine operations (ETOPS) making it a popular choice for airlines flying transatlantic routes. With more than 1000 aircraft produced, the 767 is the second most prolific wide-bodied airliner after the 747. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
