Boeing 727-200, operated by National Airlines as N4732. The three-engine jet served the historic U.S. carrier on domestic routes during the 1960s and 1970s, when National linked Florida with major cities across the United States. Powered by three Pratt & Whitney JT8D engines, the 727-200 combined strong runway performance, high cruising speed, and increased passenger capacity compared with the original 727-100. National used the type extensively from Miami and other Florida gateways before the airline was acquired by Pan American in 1980. The 727 became one of the defining short and medium-haul jetliners of its era and a familiar sight in National's colorful fleet.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
