Bombardier CRJ1000, operated by Air Nostrum as EC-MVZ. The Spanish regional airline is one of the best-known operators of the stretched CRJ1000, using it extensively on Iberia Regional services. Powered by two General Electric CF34-8C5 engines, the aircraft combines approximately 100-seat capacity with efficient regional performance and useful range. EC-MVZ links Madrid and other Spanish cities with domestic and European destinations, feeding passengers into Iberia's larger network. The CRJ1000 provides greater capacity than smaller CRJ variants while remaining suitable for thinner routes that do not justify a mainline Airbus aircraft. Air Nostrum developed substantial expertise operating the CRJ family.
