Boeing 747-8F, operated by Atlas Air as N862GT. The aircraft is one of the world's most capable commercial freighters, combining enormous payload and cargo volume with intercontinental range. Powered by four General Electric GEnx-2B engines, the 747-8F offers improved fuel efficiency and performance compared with the earlier 747-400F. Its hinged nose door allows unusually long or oversized cargo to be loaded directly into the main deck, while a large side door handles conventional pallets and containers. Atlas Air uses aircraft such as N862GT on scheduled and charter missions worldwide, carrying express freight, machinery, vehicles, military cargo, and other specialized loads.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
