Airbus A330-941neo, operated by Garuda Indonesia as PK-GHG. The aircraft forms part of Garuda's modern A330neo fleet and supports both high-demand domestic services and international routes from Indonesia. Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, PK-GHG provides lower fuel consumption, reduced emissions, improved range, and a quieter passenger environment compared with earlier A330s. Garuda deploys the type on routes across Asia and to selected longer-distance markets while benefiting from commonality with its established A330 fleet. The A330-900 gives the airline substantial passenger and cargo capacity without requiring the higher operating costs of larger long-haul widebody aircraft.

Designed as a wide-bodied, long-haul passenger transport to compete with the Boeing 767, the A330 was first flown on November 2nd, 1992. It was designed as a lengthened version of the A300 and was developed in parallel with the larger, four-engined A340, enabling many of the components to be shared between the three types. The A330 also uses the same fly-by-wire technology that was introduced with the A320, featuring a glass cockpit and side-stick controllers.
