Boeing 777F, operated by Federal Express as N895FD. Often described as a 777-200LRF because it is based on the 777-200LR platform, Boeing officially markets the dedicated cargo variant simply as the 777F. Powered by two General Electric GE90-110B1 engines, N895FD combines roughly 100 metric tons of payload capability with exceptional range and efficient twin-engine performance. FedEx deploys its 777Fs on long-distance express routes between major hubs in North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. The aircraft provides the speed, reliability, and nonstop capability required for time-sensitive international freight while reducing fuel consumption compared with older four-engine cargo aircraft.

Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to compete with the Airbus A330/A340 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, the 777 was first flown on June 12th, 1994. A pair of the world's largest diameter turbofan engines power the aircraft which currently holds the record for world's largest twin-engined airliner. The 777 was Boeing's first fly-by-wire airliner, featuring complete glass cockpit displays and flight envelope protection.
