Boeing 757-200 Diecast Model
Jet2holidays, G-LSAN

1:400 Scale   Length   Width
Boeing 757-200   4.75"   3.75"

Boeing 757-21B, operated by Jet2 as G-LSAN in Jet2holidays branding. The aircraft served the British leisure carrier on high-demand holiday routes from UK regional airports to destinations throughout the Mediterranean, Canary Islands, and continental Europe. Powered by two Rolls-Royce RB211 engines, the 757 combines excellent runway performance, useful range, and substantial narrowbody passenger capacity. Jet2 became one of the last major European passenger operators of the type, valuing its performance and capacity on busy leisure services. G-LSAN's Jet2holidays markings promoted the airline group's package vacation business while the veteran 757 continued serving alongside newer Boeing 737 and Airbus A321neo aircraft.

Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".

Boeing 757-200

Designed as a narrow-bodied, twin-engined airliner to replace the 727, the 757 was first flown on February 19th, 1982. Developed in tandem with the wide-bodied 767 twinjet, both aircraft share a common digital cockpit layout and are operated by a two man flight crew. Thanks to a proven reliability track-record, the 757 is approved for extended twin engine operations (ETOPS) making it a popular choice for airlines flying transatlantic routes. A total of 1050 aircraft were built before production ceased in 2004, however many airframes have since been retrofitted with drag-reducing blended winglets to help improve fuel economy.
