Boeing 777F, serial number 39687, operated by Etihad Cargo as A6-DDE. Often described as a 777-200LRF because it is based on the 777-200LR platform, Boeing officially markets the dedicated cargo variant simply as the 777F. Powered by two General Electric GE90-110B1 engines, A6-DDE combines approximately 100 metric tons of payload capability with exceptional intercontinental range and efficient twin-engine operation. Etihad Cargo uses the aircraft from Abu Dhabi to major freight centers worldwide, carrying pharmaceuticals, perishables, machinery, express shipments, and other valuable cargo. The 777F is the backbone of Etihad's dedicated long-haul freighter operation.

Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to compete with the Airbus A330/A340 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, the 777 was first flown on June 12th, 1994. A pair of the world's largest diameter turbofan engines power the aircraft which currently holds the record for world's largest twin-engined airliner. The 777 was Boeing's first fly-by-wire airliner, featuring complete glass cockpit displays and flight envelope protection.
