Boeing 777-258ER, serial number 30832, operated by El Al Israel Airlines as 4X-ECB. The aircraft joined El Al's long-haul fleet for intercontinental services from Tel Aviv to destinations in North America, Asia, and other distant markets. Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent 800 engines, 4X-ECB combines excellent range with substantial passenger and cargo capacity. The 777-200ER became an important flagship for El Al, complementing and eventually replacing older Boeing 747 aircraft on many routes. Aircraft such as 4X-ECB helped the airline operate nonstop long-distance services efficiently before newer Boeing 787 Dreamliners became the centerpiece of its fleet modernization.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to compete with the Airbus A330/A340 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-11, the 777 was first flown on June 12th, 1994. A pair of the world's largest diameter turbofan engines power the aircraft which currently holds the record for world's largest twin-engined airliner. The 777 was Boeing's first fly-by-wire airliner, featuring complete glass cockpit displays and flight envelope protection. Standard varients have a range of 4,200 nautical miles while Extended Range (ER) variants can fly for 6,600 nautical miles and the Longer Range (LR) variant is the world's longest range airliner capable of flying 7,800 nautical miles. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
