Boeing 707-320B, operated by El Al Israel Airlines as 4X-ATS. The four-engine jetliner played an important role in transforming the Israeli flag carrier's long-haul network during the jet age. Powered by Pratt & Whitney JT3D turbofan engines, the 707-320B offered improved range, speed, and passenger comfort compared with earlier piston aircraft. El Al used its 707s from Tel Aviv to destinations in Europe, North America, Africa, and other international markets. Aircraft such as 4X-ATS helped establish reliable nonstop and one-stop intercontinental services before larger Boeing 747s progressively assumed the airline's highest-capacity long-distance routes.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
Designed as the first American turbine-engined airliner, the 707 was first flown on July 15th, 1954. The aicraft was designed from the start as a commercial airliner and military transport/refuelling platform and various models rolled off the production lines for 25 years. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
