Airbus A321-211P2F, serial number 3504, operated for Lufthansa Cargo as D-AEUC. The aircraft began life as a passenger A321 before conversion to freighter configuration with a large main-deck cargo door, reinforced floor, and cargo handling system. Powered by two CFM International CFM56-5B engines, D-AEUC provides efficient capacity for short and medium-haul freight services within Europe. Lufthansa Cargo uses A321 freighters to connect regional markets with its major Frankfurt cargo hub, carrying express shipments, e-commerce parcels, and general freight. The converted narrowbody complements the carrier's much larger Boeing 777F fleet on lower-volume routes.
