Boeing 767-432ER, operated by Delta Air Lines as N844MH. The stretched widebody is part of Delta's specialized 767-400ER fleet and has served long-haul routes from major U.S. hubs. Powered by two General Electric CF6-80C2 engines, the aircraft offers a useful balance of intercontinental range, passenger capacity, and cargo volume. Delta deploys its 767-400ERs on transatlantic services, routes to South America and Hawaii, and selected high-demand domestic flights. Modernized interiors with updated premium cabins and entertainment systems have helped extend the fleet's career while newer Airbus A330neo and A350 aircraft progressively assume a larger share of long-distance flying.
Please note: An optional display stand is available separately if you wish to display this model "in-flight".
Designed as a wide-bodied, twin-engined airliner to fill the niche between the narrow-bodied 707 and wide-bodied 747, the 767 was first flown on September 26th, 1981. Developed in tandem with the narrow-bodied 757 twinjet, both aircraft share a common digital cockpit layout and are operated by a two man flight crew. Thanks to a proven reliability track-record, the 767 is approved for extended twin engine operations (ETOPS) making it a popular choice for airlines flying transatlantic routes. With more than 1000 aircraft produced, the 767 is the second most prolific wide-bodied airliner after the 747. © Copyright 2003-2026 The Flying Mule, Inc.
