Embraer E170STD, serial number 17000295, operated by BA CityFlyer as G-LCYG. The aircraft serves British Airways regional routes primarily from London City Airport, where the E170's strong runway performance and relatively quiet operation are especially valuable. Powered by two General Electric CF34-8E engines, G-LCYG offers a comfortable two-by-two cabin and efficient capacity for business-oriented European services. BA CityFlyer uses the Embraer fleet to destinations throughout the United Kingdom and continental Europe. The E170's combination of short-field capability, passenger comfort, and regional range made it particularly well suited to the demanding operating environment at London City.
