Airbus A321-271NX, operated by Air New Zealand as ZK-OYB. The aircraft forms part of the carrier's new-generation narrowbody fleet and is used on high-capacity domestic and international services across the Tasman and South Pacific. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney PW1100G geared turbofan engines, the A321neo offers improved fuel efficiency, lower emissions, reduced noise, and greater range than earlier A320-family aircraft. Air New Zealand uses the type from Auckland and other major airports to destinations in Australia and the Pacific islands. Its high capacity makes it particularly valuable on busy leisure and business routes.
